Ossoff Deputy Political Director Reveals Democrats Hiding Plans to Pack the Supreme Court: ‘If Biden Gets Elected, Maybe We’ll Add Three Justices to the Supreme [Court]’

  • Max Harris, Ossoff deputy political director: “I can’t say that here today [pack the Supreme Court], but…Well, it’s not the official – the official position of the party right now is not ‘aggressively pack the court.’ It’s ‘we’re waiting and seeing how the nomination process goes’ and then we’ll go from there.”

  • Harris: “I think that privately, a lot of people [in the campaign] share that [packing the Supreme Court] feeling.”

  • Harris: I think that ‘Defund the Police’ slogan is bad branding.

  • Harris: “So I think that the slogan [Defund the Police] is over-simplified and it doesn’t help Democrats."

  • Harris: “Why don’t we start being creative about the way we’re framing these [Defund the Police] issues so that people who might not agree with us in theory can start seeing the light.”

  • O’Keefe: “How many dishonest people has Ossoff hired to work in his staff? This is not the first time we have exposed his campaign for misleading voters.”

[WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Dec. 10, 2020] Project Veritas Action Fund released a new video today exposing deceitful comments by a senior staffer in Jon Ossoff’s U.S. Senate campaign in Georgia.

Ossoff’s deputy political director, Max Harris, admitted to a Veritas journalist that the campaign cannot be upfront with its policies on Supreme Court packing nor policing and public safety.

“How many dishonest people has Ossoff hired to work in his staff? This is not the first time we have exposed his campaign for misleading voters,” said Project Veritas Action Fund founder and CEO James O’Keefe.

Harris spoke to a Project Veritas Action Fund journalist at an Ossoff campaign event in Atlanta. In that conversation, he revealed the Democrats’ plan to pack the Supreme Court.

“I can’t say that here today [pack the Supreme Court],” Harris said. “It’s not the official – the official position of the party right now is not ‘aggressively pack the court.’ It’s ‘we’re waiting and seeing how the nomination process goes’ and then we’ll go from there.”

In the Jan. 5 Senate runoff, the Democrat Ossoff is facing Republican Sen. David A. Perdue Jr. The same day, Republican Sen. Kelly L. Loeffler faces Democrat Baptist minister Raphael G. Warnock.

With the incoming Senate split with 48 Democrats and 50 Republicans, Democrats need to win both seats to gain control of the chamber, but only if Sen. Kamala Harris (D.-Calif.) becomes the vice president with the ability to break a tie.

If Joseph R. Biden Jr., is sworn in as president with a Senate controlled by his party, he would have a path to put more justices on the Supreme Court, thus overwhelming what is now perceived as a 6-3 majority for conservatives on the high court.

Journalist: “I have nothing to lose so that's why I'm ready to do whatever it takes. Whatever it takes. I don't care, so if that means keeping the low key, progressive stance hidden, I am about it. Because that's—"

Ossoff Deputy Political Director Max Harris: “I think that privately, a lot of people share that feeling, but it's more about trying to prevent conservatives' vote on the court.”

Harris also told the journalist Democrats need to reword their attacks on the police.

“I think that ‘Defund the Police’ slogan is bad branding, so I think that the slogan is over-simplified, and it doesn’t help Democrats,” he said. “Why don’t we start being creative about the way we’re framing these issues so that people who might not agree with us in theory can start seeing the light.”

O’Keefe said the Project Veritas Action Fund is doing the job other reporters are unable or unwilling to do.

“Reporters need to do their job and search for the private truths hidden behind the public lies,” he said.
